Sir Baldrick
Nov. 12th, 2013 03:00 pmIt's been a while since I explained the photo in my icon, and given that Tony Robinson was just knighted, this seems like an opportune time.
The image is of Baldrick, Robinson's character in the Blackadder TV series. Famed for his near-legendary stupidity, mingled with occasional flashes of stunning insight, Baldrick was always one of my favorite characters in the series. Choosing him as my "mascot" in this blog is a good reminder that I'm not nearly so smart as I might wish, and thus, a reminder to be more humble than I might otherwise be.
