At long last, here are the photos from our first few days in Japan. Needless to say, this is just a short sampler of the larger collection, which we'll show off once we're safely home in a bit over a week.

Additional photos will be added as time permits, which is to say erratically, depending on mental energy and the availability of Internet access. Tomorrow is a big travel day (probably 8 AM to 8 PM), and after a day in the mountains, we'll likely be totally wiped.
