Troublesome authors

blatherskiteFor today's author, I sputtered briefly and then found myself relying on a wonderful quote from Londo Mollari, a character in Babylon 5: "Ah, arrogance and stupidity all in the same package. How efficient of you."
Usually I'm diplomatic to a ridiculous extent. Some days, diplomacy be damned... you just have to come right out and say what you're thinking. And passive-aggressively let the author ignore all your hard work and look (in print) like the fool they are.
Mutter, grumble. Repeat as necessary for the next hour.
